Weekend Walking Bothy Adventure – Hebog


Discover Snowdonia in its purest, most remote form with this walking weekend adventure and spend the night in a secluded traditional bothy in the shadow of Snowdon.

At 1085 adventures we offer 2 day guided hike & bothy expeditions from our base in Beddgelert.

Our wandering guides have pieced together some of Snowdonia’s finest summits and trails to offer you a bespoke experience that takes in the less travelled routes up and around Snowdonia.

Come with us and explore the remote side of Snowdonia and spend the night in a private traditional bothy on this two day hiking expedition.

The bothy is truly spectacular set in a magical meadow at the base of the Snowdon. After a days walk you will be provided with an evening meal and get to marvel at the sight of Snowdon amongst the stars as you step outside the bothy.



2 Days – 1 Night
What’s included:
Take two days to truly absorb the spectacular landscape, history and tales that surround’s the picturesque village of Beddgelert.

Day one is a leisurely walk to the bothy climbing up the flanks of Snowdon through Bwlch Cwm Llan and into the Nant Gwynant valley.

Having rested the night at the peaceful bothy the aim of day 2 is to summit Moel Hebog, standing at 783m is a superb mountain walk that towers above the village of Beddgelert, standing tall amongst the Hebog range it is significant historically and geologically.

From its summit experience spectacular views of Snowdonia without the crowds.

We aim to offer our expeditions to any walker who is looking to attempt an overnight hiking expedition with the additional safety and comfort provided by a guide, pre-planned route and accommodation.

Overnight bothy/wild camping mini-adventure in a beautiful secluded location.

Suitable walking clothing and waterproofs
A small evening bag with warm clothing, comfortable footwear for arrival at the bothy – this will be transported to the bothy by the support team vehicle.
