Description
Moel Hebog standing at 783m is a superb mountain walk that towers above the village of Beddgelert, standing tall amongst the Hebog range it is significant historically and geologically.
This circular route starting from either Beddgelert or base camp includes some light scrambling on bare rock, tales of local folklore and some insight into the formation of the mountain and its volcanic past.
From its summit experience spectacular views of Snowdonia without the crowds.
This route can be made longer to include other peaks within the Hebog range if desired.
