Description
The Nantlle range is situated on the Western edge of Snowdonia National park and offers spectacular views across Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula.
A truly tranquil ridge this 15km hike starts fairly mellow following forest trails and old tramways to the base of the mountain, it then requires a moderate level of fitness to hike up slopes of Y Garn to begin the ridge.
Summit three peaks along the ridge up to a height of 700m before descending a steady spur down into the woodland for a leisurely return to base camp in Beddgelert.
