The Hyperlite Mountain Gear Junction 40 is one of the newer releases from the incredible brand. Building on the success of the many Hyperlite backpacks, the Junction 40 is a combination of the Windrider and Southwest rucksacks, taking the best of both packs and combining them into a new design that’s perfect for weekend trips.
The Hyperlite Junction 40 is well designed, with function and comfort at the core, taking customer feedback to optimise the design with new or improved features, such as the additional foam in the hip stays, and the mesh back and exterior pocket.
The mesh exterior pocket is perfect for helping gear to dry off while already on the move, and there is an additional axe loop and shaft for safekeeping. The Y top closure helps to compress the Hyperlite Junction 40 if not full or secure extra articles of clothing without needing to unpack.
The shoulder straps are as comfy as ever, with new daisy chain attachments so you can add on the Hyperlite shoulder pocket or adjust the sternum strap for a better fit. To make sure you have the correct Hyperlite Junction 40 size to fit your body type, measure your torso length down the curve of your spine and compare it to this size guide:
Small (15.0” – 17.0” torso)
Medium (17.0” – 19.0” torso)
Large (19.0” – 21.0” torso)
The Hyperlite Mountain Gear Junction 40 backpack is constructed from the incredibly durable, sturdy and water resistant Dyneema® Composite Fabrics.
